Some things are important—just not right now.

A Holding Shelf is a single-page container for placing decisions, tasks, and thoughts somewhere safe without processing them. It lets you set things down without pretending they don’t exist, and without letting them pull on you all day.

Use it to:

• list what you’re putting on the shelf
• name one honest reason it isn’t being handled today
• choose when the shelf will be checked again (time or event)
• set a gentle default in case you never return

This is not avoidance.
It is deliberate deferral.
