A Single Thread is a single-page container for working on one thing without splitting into ten. It gives you a place to name the thread, capture interruptions without following them, and define what “progress” actually means—so focus becomes gentle and stable.

Use it to:

• name the one thread you are staying with
• capture interruptions that want to pull you sideways
• give those interruptions a parking place
• define what counts as progress (concrete, realistic)
• choose when the thread ends (time or event)

This is not discipline.
It is containment.
